Foodie Post #10: Shake Shack @ Suntec, Singapore

Finally we tried this! When it first opened in Jewel, the queue was overwhelming! Now it has opened a few branches in Singapore (Orchard, Suntec, Tanjong Pagar). I tried the Suntec branch on a weekend, so we managed to get a seat straightaway.

The first burger in the front is SmokeShack ($10.90). It's spicy as there's chopped cherry pepper, I love the bacon in it! And normal fries ($4.50). Comes with mustard and tomato sauce!
The burger behind is 'Shroom Burger ($10.80). The crisp-fried portobello mushroom is love! And we ordered a Pandan Shake ($7.80), which is Singapore exclusive! hmm, too sweet for us and it's best to share with 4 ppl.

Overall a nice experience, they even have a hand washing machine, you can just put your hand there and soap and water will flow out automatically. Not a very big fan of burger, so I would say probably 1 try is enough for me ๐Ÿ˜‹

Foodie Post #9: PAUL @ Orchard, Singapore

Wanted to try this since I have 1-for-1 HSBC Entertainer, but it cannot be used during PH. ๐Ÿ˜ญ So I'll still go back there another time xD

I had this Egg Benedict with Smoked Salmon ($16.90). The portion is fairly huge for me, and the poached eggs are perfect!
And Hadi had this Salted Egg Soft Shelled Crab Pasta ($22.90). Creamy pasta is not my favourite so I still prefer the egg Benedict over this pasta. I'll try other dishes on my next visit and update here again!

Foodie Post #8: The Boiler @ Tai Seng, Singapore

We went here for my birthday! They have this birthday promotion which you will get a free lobster with purchase of a bombdiggity bag! It's been so long since I last had seafood this way xD

I should have taken a nearer picture, but it's kind of hard to capture the whole thing when they are all in the bag. So the top bag is the bombdiggity bag ($159). It consists of clams, mussels, prawns, crabs, smoked sausages, corns and the 4 buns below. You can choose the sauce to go with, and we picked The Works (Mild). I'm afraid that if we go too hot we would drink lots of water, and garlic butter might make us feel a lil jelak. xD

The free lobster is at the 2nd bag, with the choice of garlic butter sauce. Overall we enjoyed our dinner! The bombdiggity bag doesn't look a lot, but it definitely able to fill our tummy well! The menu says that it's for 4 person, but I think 3 person is just fine xD
One last picture of 3 of us! xD Hello ex-colleague hahaha!

Foodie Post #7: PLONK @ Serangoon North, Singapore

Came here for lunch as I wanted to go somewhere nearby. Just notice there are a lot of nice restaurants around, should come here for food hunt again!

Fish and Chips ($23). Not the usual dory fish, but barramundi! Tastes quite nice!
Grilled Bone-In Pork Chop ($25). This is nice! The pork is tender, and the apple kale salad is nice too!
Seared Salmon ($25). Served with truffle mash, thought it is potato mash at first. This is nice as well!

This place serves nice foods! Wouldn't mind to go back and try other stuffs as well! xD

Foodie Post #6: SLATE @ Bugis, Singapore

Wow, this is amazing! It's a small shop nearby National Library in Bugis. Their foods are amazing, as well as the drinks! I don't normally drink alcoholic beverages, but this cocktails are soooo instagrammable and nice xD

Hahaha! This doesn't looks edible ๐Ÿ˜… but it's one of my favourite food here! This is called Textures of Cauliflower ($13). Honestly, the portion is quite small, but OMG! It will be the best cauliflower you've had ever tasted! Must-try!
This is Baby Scallops ($13). It tastes nice, but probably the cauliflower outshined this dish. xD

We had cocktails. This is Golden Wisdom ($17).
This is Mai Lai ($17)
And this is mine! Absolutely love this. Smoking Daisy ($20).

Wanted to try the Siew Mai Wellington, but too bad it's unavailable. So we had this Kopa Grilled Duroc Pork Belly ($22). This is very nice!! Hahaha! Forgot to take the picture of the sauce, but this is eaten together with the sauce and it tastes amazing!

This is Squid 2 Ways ($23). The black colour thingy is rice crackers by squid ink. And it's called squid 2 ways as they prepared the squid in  2 ways (fried and grilled). We like the grilled one more, it's nice to eat together with the mango salsa.
This is Banana Leaf Milkfish ($28). This tastes quite nice but probably because it's sort of taste like sambal that makes it seems a bit normal among the 3 dishes that we had.

Overall a very nice dining experience hahaha! They decorated with halloween stuff, and the restaurant is small and cozy, nice ambience and I like that it's not that noisy too.
